Please help - about bb from throat / oesophagus

How do you know it's coming from your oesophagus?
There was one guy here, 'keeptrying09', why had a fungal infection in his oesophagus. He was cured with fluconazole. He had a "musty" type of bb as i recall, that went away after the treatment.
