Help with first ENT visit

Hello,

I have my first ENT visit on Tuesday and wanted to ask the group what are the types of things I should ask the Consultant, for example are there any specific tests or examinations that I should ask for.

I have PND, and I think recurrent nasal infections. The symptom include a blocked nose for long periods, or constantly having to blow my nose, sneezing fits that can only be stopped by blowing my nose, and occasionally a strange smell that I can only smell when I pinch my nostrils.

Just wondering, how did you get to the ENT? Did you have to pay for a consultation or via a doctor referral, if so what did you mention to your doctor?
