When you say you get reactions from people....

Could you guys be a little more specific?

Do you guys communicate up close to other people, like 5 inches? Is that when they react, or is there considerable distance?

Also, I've been reading posts where a lot of you claim that tung brush or vitamin c is helping. Do you actually have someone you can blow your breath on and ask, or are you just guessing?

This would make things so much easier in discerning whether or not certain products work, not by a stupid nose scratch but a flat out, "your breath stinks".

I've gotten the turning/pulling back of their heads while squinting, them with a look of digust in their facs with their own mouths wide open (probably in shock, lol), to people literally saying "pewwww!" as I'm talking.

All this nose touching reactions don't really happen to me. The most ambiguous reaction would be people refusing to look at me when I'm talking to them. Otherwise, thereactions are clear cut.

Unfortunately, I have made people go into coughing spasms from my breath. Quite embarassing :( Whats interesting is that NO ONE will tell me I have BB, except for one person every 5-10 yrs. Most people are non-confrontational. I work with 2 people who have chronic fecal breath, but would not think of telling them and don't think anyone ever has. Co-workeres have even talked with me about those people's BB. Ironic huh....
Smell is a very subjective (and transient) thing. Many people have a reduced sense of smell because of smoking or sinus problems. I've had girlfriends who didn't seem to be offended/affected (or even notice) by my BB, while other girls have abruptly stopped on the first kiss and after a quick visit to the ladies room, left in a hurry. I get all sorts of reactions such as people stepping back, rubbing their nose, spitting, looking away, and the aforementioned coughing spasm. It sucks and you can't help being paranoid. In the end, people will judge you more for your actions than your BB, but it doesn't make functioning in the world any easier.

Has anyone ever gotten the reaction when someone says that it smells like something died?

That would be the cadaverine smell.

My smell is said to be that of meat rotting so it would be putrescine for me.

Where are the bacteria that produces VSC's that smell like a glacial waterfall?!

hahaha.. seriously!

this is why i have faith in science and technology.. because what you just said will probably be a reality in 50-100 years ..

i'm sure it could be a reality now but unfortunately man throws his resources into nothing but business and war.. and war is business.. so make that just business..

as for me, i think i'd like 'spring rain on freshly bloomed valley of flowers'.. hell i'd love to just try them all out.. comon science.. help us already!!

I get the old scratching of the nose a lot, and a cough now and then. I've also realised a co-worker of mine who starts humming some tunes when we're in short distance of eachother and i never really bothered about it or anything, but i've realised that when you're humming you can't breath in and maybe he's using a clever way to avoid smelling my breath or maybe i'm just incredibly paranoid!! :-k
