This might be long.
Backstory: so basically I've had bb/halitosis since the beginning of highschool (I'm currently 19 btw), it's been super embarassing and rough for me and I feel terrible that my classmates, teachers, family, and friends have to witness (and still till this day) this as well. (I've done the h.pylori test and it came out negative.) I've seen an ENT specialist, told my story to him and all he recommended me was to take Listerine. And we all know that shit makes bb worse. And I've tried everything possible to "help" or "cure" bb/tonsil stones. That includes: Therabreath mouthwash, mints, tonsil stone kit, Profresh, Smartmouth, TUNG gel, NOW Foods Oralbiotic, Pro-dental, chlorophyll, acv, yogurt, probiotics, zinc, B-12, oregano supplements, got a waterpick, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, lemon, salt water rinse, tougne scraping literally everything damn thing. My stones (small and medium sized) are a dark yellow and they smell ridiculously foul like farts and poop and it's so hard and difficult to take them out because they're deep in the pockets of my tonsils

I have another appointment coming up with the same ENT and I really want to consider getting my tonsils removed.
I truly believe that my tonsil stones are the underlying cause of my bb bc I've done that licking on the hand method to check bb and sometimes it does not smell. I really wanna get a tonsillectomy but if anyone has gotten it done in Canada in the GTA please let me know and how much the costs are and how did you get it done!!! Or even getting them lasered too. HELP A SISTER OUT PLEASE IM LITERALLY DYING OUT HERE AND I DO NOT WANT THIS BB ANYMORE I CAN NOT LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE. I just want to live my life bb free😭😭😭

I'm not in Ontario but I'm Canadian; its free with a referral from your Doctor. There's probably going to be a long waitlist, soo I reccomend you ask them to put you on a last minute cancellation list, soo you can get in as soon as possible

I’m Canadian too (Alberta) and as stillhoping said, you should get on that ASAP because the wait could be up to a year. Do a little research on symptoms of strep and tonsillitis. ENTs are reluctant to remove tonsils simply because of tonsil stones. Tell them you get strep like 6 times a year, that it’s giving you BB, you’re choking up tonsil stones etc. Push and push for the tonsillectomy (don’t get the laser). Remember, our system makes us wait for ****ing everything so the sooner the better and don’t let them tell you what you should do, fight for the tonsillectomy and adenoids removal. Shit, I’d even push for the lingual tonsils removal although it’s not something they are always willing to do.

As usual, it won’t cost you a dime. (But time can be more valuable, especially in our case)

Before removing your tonsils, search about lymphatic system. The connection between them. You might want to search about, how to move your lymphatic system. You can achieve that, with rebounding, cycling, walking, running, swimming ect. If you live were you can swim in see water it's very good that you can do that. It will heal you faster because your body will absorb the minerals. I live far from that.

I think most of us are not active people, that does sport or cardio, that's why our lymphatic system can't detox quickly.

But I change that, I started to bike riding everyday at least 14 km. And I do rebounding everyday for at least 10 minute. I try running, but it's not for me.

There is no use of removing tonsils.
Many have us, including myself, have done it to no avail.

Immediately after the surgery, you may feel that you got cured. But that's the antibiotics that you are taking to heal the surgical wounds.
In a matter of few days, the BB will come back.

Don’t do it because it doesn’t help with bad breath.

I second that.
Nothing good happens to bad breath after tonsils and uvula are removed. Been there done that,
