What is white coating

I have readen your interview with Jimi. You have pointed that more than 90% of halitosis cases is caused by tonsiles.
Can you say Why we have to floss every day because of white coating on our gum and teeth and where these white coating is comming if halitosis originates from tonsils ?
Why when i touch my tonsil with my indicate finger it don't smell at all but white coating on my tongue smell ?
If halitosis is comming from tonsils than Why bb sufferers get better and in some cases their halitosis gone while they are taking Anti-biotic
