cured...

so i personally believe one can never be cured of bb. i just think you can go from being a chronic halitosis case, to an occasional case. and that's where i am.
i had a tonsillectomy at the beginning of the month, and now a few weeks later (been off antibiotics for over a week) everything has changed. i don't have a bad taste in my mouth anymore. i don't feel like i have to hide my breath when i talk and the people i've confided in about my problem tell me that they don't smell anything when i'm around/talk to them.
my oral health regimen is different. i stopped using anti-halitosis products (pre-surgery and post) because i don't believe in them at all. they've cause more problems in the long run because they select for very bad bacteria in your mouth. as a ten year sufferer i'm very sure of this. i brush with colgate baking soda/peroxide whitening toothpaste. then i gargle briefly with hydrogen peroxide and brush my tongue with a tongue brush, rinse, and that's it. i also floss once/twice a day.
i'm really looking forward to moving on with my life. this has been incredibly damaging emotionally and psychologically. i hope that all of you find your answer. i'll be praying for you daily, because i know how hard this is. i can't even count the nights i've cried over this problem. i probably have spent 90% of this ten year battle thinking/worrying/crying/being depressed about having bb and now i feel like i can rest.
