Daily consumption of unheated extra virgin olive oil has helped me against bad breath and smell from nose

Yes. To rinse with oil may reduce halitosis but if it is Type 1.
Oil covers tongue surface, so that inhibits vaporization of volatile compounds from tongue surface to mouth air.

On the other hand, some volatil aromatic hidrocarbons (for example isopren) is soluble in oil. They leave tongue surface and enter in oil.

Oils have temporary effect for only type 1 halitosis.

Do you mean Cold Pressed olive oil ?
do you swish , gargle and spit Or do you swallow it ?

yes cold pressed extra virgin olive oil...i swallow it...and aydinmur im not saying you are incorrect but it also fights off bad smell from the nose, so alot more is happening
