emails from this site

hi everyone and jimmi,

i wrote to jimmi a while ago to request that i be removed from receiving emails from the site, and jimmi, i only just got the email back from you saying that you'd have to remove me from the site altogether if i wanted my name removed from your list.

is that a technical issue or is that your choice? i'd really rather not have to make a whole new secret email address only for this site. as far as i'm concerned, why is there a need to receive emails anyway? i come on to the site to read, and anything can be expressed here on the board. could you just put your rants on the forum instead?

i feel strongly about not receiving emails about this site in my inbox due to privacy issue. i'm sure some others can relate. and i think it's quite reasonable to ask any online forum to not send any email notifications - i have this option to every other online community that i belong to. jimmi, i hope you can make this work, or stop sending emails altogether. i'd appreciate it if my wish could be respected.

and if anyone else feels the same way, please speak up.

ok i've actually found out how to filter messages in my email program. but i still believe users should have the choice to not receive emails from the site. but at least for now it won't be a big problem for myself anymore.

Sorry for tha, but why are you suing th email that you want to be hidden. You are saying that I should stop sending newsletter to everybody because of you?

Cant you just change your email to a secret one. I mean I dont understand.

SOmetimes there are urgent things and that is why the newsletter is used.

So either close your account and stop posting here, or change your email. It is so easy to setup and gmail account.
