trying to stay positive
trying to stay positive
Yesterday I had company, first a brother and then later a sis and her hubby. I went ahead and boiled oregano in water and did a nasal rinse and gargle with it. I also drank baking soda mixed with warm water and kept brushing teeth, all this before sis came over. For some reason it was first time I smelled my own breath a bit! The dinning room smelled like it needed to be aired! My brother kept putting finger under nose, my brother-in-law covered mouth when ever he could, and sis was polite but doing most of the conversation, me, I was stressed, nervous, disappointed, and sad and wishing they all leave. What a life!
I poured out my heart to the Lord last night and asked Him to send us a cure soon to all of us. I am trying to stay positive but it is so hard! A nephew called me to invite me to his daughter's b-day and the next day I found out a cousin's wife past away. Now, after my siblings visit I know I will not even consider attending the funeral or party.

I know the feeling.
I went on the train today.
A man standing 4 feet away from me looked at me as if to say what right I have to go on the train with bad breath.
I have become so scared. literally scared that people will kick me off the train/bus/store because of the smell.
I am scared to go out because my breath can be smelled 20 feet away.
I too am trying to keep positive.
This morning when I got up I heard the other people in the building couhing nonstop. Even when they got outside they were coughing. I tried to spray febreeze in my apartment and I have 3 febreeze Plug-ins but they cant stop the smell from reaching my neighbours in the building.
I am worried that landlord will ask me to move out because of smell.
I looked out the window today to see some people looking in and i wonder if they were told I have bad breath by the other people in the building.
I am LITERALLY SCARED NOW.
I am trying to count down till when I get my date for the surgery and trying to keep positive. NHS maximum 15 weeks wait.
Halihope. Doyou think that I will get a date for surgery before 15 weeks past? I pray.
This is the only thing keeping me so positive now.
This week means 14 weeks to go before I get a date for surgery maximum.
We have to hold on and be positive. SURELY PEOPLE MUST REALISE WE ARE SICK WITH A DISEASE NOT THAT WE have poor HYGIENE.
I hope.

DRASTIC Hi, What type of surgery are you going to have? Perhaps if you can ask your doctor to make it sooner because of.............and just fill in the blank it can happen sooner. Now how do you know your bb reaches 20 feet, have you measure it? I did this this past week and my safe zone is 9 feet but it doesn't matter because whenever I see a doctor, lab tech or anyone else I have to get close to them. I am so sorry that you have to resort to using sprays, I open my windows and run the ac for a while or have the fan facing towards the windows. Maybe you ought to do this and face your fan/fans towards a window that faces street. Hang in there and I will pray your surgery will be the answer for you.

Hi Halihope,
I actually am waiting for tonsillectomy. The hospital maximum wait time is 15 weeks. I dont think that my doctor can influence them since she never wanted to dend me to the ENT in the first place. So, I have to wait and pray.
I dont have Air condition because my country is very cold. Trust me I have to use heaters now that Autumn will start soon which means windows closed most of the time. I do open my windows but notice that the neighbours in my building walk DIRECTLY beside it therefore breathing in the smell then they cough and make rude COMMENTS like SHIT.
Some of my neighbours have started walking a different route away from my window. But some people are persistent since they lived in the building long before me. I wish that I could just shout at them when they make rude comments.
Thabks for your words, Halihope.
