UK XMas Meetup, London, 12pm Dec 13th 2008

Post by Scientist42 »

Guys,

The next UK Halitosis Meetup will be a Xmas Meetup. It will be at the Rock Garden in Covent Garden on 13th December 12pm onwards.

I am expecting around 10 people. We will sit outside under heated umbrellas and have drinks and possibly Xmas dinner. Please note I will have my mobile switched on and the number is 07984 295 559

So, if any of you have a desire to meet and chat with others who share your problem please come along and pull a cracker with us!

Arun

Hi dude,
No need to stay in a hotel (unless you particularly want to do so). I have a spare room at my place and it is always available for Group members attending the meetups, especially if they come from far like America!

Lots of guys and girls from these groups have stayed with me in the past so I'm used to it and we have a great time.

If you like, email me so we can arrange it. My email is [email protected] that is arunnagrath at hotmail.com in case this site edits it! My home number is +44 (0) 1375 484 269.

Any other newbies want to come? There should be around 10 of us.

Depressedindc,
My place is a little far from the event but you are most welcome to stay with me. However, if you want a hotel near the venue I would suggest checking websites such as those on the following website:-

http://uk.search.yahoo.com/search?p=che ... TF-8&rd=r2

If you book right now you can get a great deal with discounts of up to 75% per night!

So far we have more than 10 people who have confirmed they are coming.

Brokenbuthopeful,
I am glad you can make it. With so many of us we may need to occupy 2 outdoor tables. Enjoy!

Azishazi,
None of us were able to smell an odour from the other members!
So, we don't know who had more odour and who had less. The 8 of us were with each other for several hours and talking 2-3 feet from each other.

This is a common finding of mine, most of us can not smell each other because we have the same odour.

I'm sorry...I'm a little confused...

What exactly is this?? Is this an actual annual meeting that is conducted in the UK with regards to finding a solution for halitosis or are you setting up a meeting for people to meet and discuss there problems?

I'm confused because I think I saw this before, where people met up...but provided no insight to what exactly was discussed during the convention/meeting.

I know there is a group in the US that meets up...I believe that last convention was in chicago, but the website provided no info into what they've found or if there making any progress at all.
