Okay, so far what have you tried other than mouthwashes because if that's not helping most likely your problem might be coming from somewhere else. Wisdom tooth is a possiblitly. Do you take probiotics?

Well, probiotics won't harm you. They are actually good for you. So you should start taking them to rule that out. About your wisdom tooth, I guess you should ask your dentist, the only way you'll know is to get them taken out. Candidiasis is another possibility. Have you considered that?

Check out this thread. viewtopic.php?t=2659

It's a bad breath checklist. You can go down the list and check off all the things you've already tried, and focus on the things you haven't tried yet.

to be honest your tongue seems quite normal from your pic, though going by personal experience i know you can take too much interest in your tongue with this problem

some of the things you have said i can relate to. i would definitely look into your wisdom teeth( which i think is my problem). are your wisdom teeth impacted?

plenty of stories on here about wisdom teeth. have a look around

Usually dentist will agree to take out your wisdom teeth with little fuss. Wisdom teeth aren't really necessary. It's not like getting your tonsils out. I had to fight with my doctors for years to get those removed. My dentist was a different story. I just went to him one day and said I wanted to have my wisdom teeth removed, he checked them out and he said "o.k.", easy as that....

Probiotics are nothing more than beneficial bacteria that should be present in your gut. For some people though they don't have these beneficial bacteria in large enough numbers, so they should supplement with probiotics. There's a lot on this forum that has already been written about probiotics and bad breath. Try using the search function and you will come across a lot of threads already that will answer your question in depth. :)

GNC is overpriced. Plus the probiotic you linked to only has 1 strain of bacteria in it, Lactobacillus GG.

If you are going to take probiotic supplements, you should take one that has multiple strains of bacteria. For instance, one of the probiotic supplements I take has 14 different strains of bacteria, with over 35 billion CFU per dose.

If you live in the US, I would recommend buying your probiotics at www.vitacost.com. Here is the direct link, http://www.vitacost.com/productResults. ... probiotics. From all the websites I've searched, they seem to have the lowest prices. For example, the probiotic that you found at the GNC website cost $27.49. You can buy the exact same probiotic from vitacost.com for $14.48.

Have fun shopping. :D

You should look for one that has more than 100 billion CFUs per dose and take that daily for the first few weeks. After that, you could start taking one that has a bit less, as long as you are getting at least 10 billion CFUs per day.

Personally I use the brand "Nature's Way". They got a good score in a consumerlab.com report so that's why I chose that one. But I think you can get whichever brand you like. Just do some research on it before you buy it....

Most of the time the source of you bad breath is as a result of too much bad bacterias in your system which may end up in your mouth, your sinuses or in your throat.

Taking probiotics help create a good bacteria balance in your system. If candida is the source of your bacteria imbalance probiotics can help you cure it.
