I´m also on the 10th day of candida diet, (no fruits, no sugar of any type, no rice, no bread, no pasta, no soft drinks, no milk, no yogurt, no alcohol, no cheese etc.).
My breath the first days was worst, but different, I can´t smell that shitty breath, but for the reactions, its worst, and I developed a need of sugar.
I will stay in diet for 20 days more, them use natural antifungals, and fluconazol in high doses, as I read in a page (in spanish)
http://www.candidiasiscronica.org/inicio.htm
In resistent candida, fluconazole can´t do anything or helps only a little, especially in candida krusei and candida glabrata, but I´ll use fluconazole because I dont have the money to buy a potent antifungal like voriconazol ($800 here in Peru)
One more thing, with this diet, my digestion is the best that I have.

I'm sure what you are experiencing is die-off effect from the Candida. Candida is ruthless and it doesn't like to be starved. When it dies it will release all it's toxins into your system, which is what causes the symptoms to get worse. It happened to me too. Don't stop your treatment.
Regarding Candida Krusei and Candida Glabrata, they also infect people, but they are not as common as Candida Albicans. Candida Albicans is the main strain of Candida that infects human hosts.
Anyway, I would suggest eating yogurt with live active cultures, taking some kind of probiotic supplement, and also taking virgin coconut oil (or just eat fresh coconuts if you are able to buy them.)
Good luck and keep us all posted on your progress.

So for the past two years I have been buying yogurt from the grocery store and eating it both in the mornings and in the evenings to prevent my Candida from coming back.
Recently I found this yogurt making machine online. I'm totally gonna get one. Apparently you just have to buy some milk, mix it with some plain natural yogurt with live active cultures, put it in this machine, and then supposedly you get yogurt a few hours later. I think you can use yogurt starter cultures also to mix with the milk, but I haven't found any starter cultures in Thailand, which is why they say you can just use plain natural yogurt that's already been made as your starter.
It will be an interesting experiment. I'll let you guys know how it works out. Hopefully I can save some money. The yogurt I like to buy is like $1.60 a cup! It's expensive.
