I was thinking, we could take excerpts and stories from everyone on this site, and form them into a documentary story sort of book. Give it a vague cover name like "We can't talk", and sell it at bookstores across the world. Gotta admit there are some tearjerkers posts here, a lot of extremely intelligent people, bravery, strength, and sincere care for others who share similar problems.
People are obsessed with bad breath, including non-sufferers. There is no wondering why the gum and mint industry lives strong. People might buy the book out of curiosity and fear. I think if they did, they'd have a greater understanding of what bad breath really is, and they there are people that live with the real thing.
Might be a great way, and the first attempt to collect real data, symptoms, feelings on the day to day life of a sufferer. Perhaps garner some sympathy, and possibly even make medical professionals consider our issues as real disabilities.
At the very least, we would be documenting this for everyone, not just a forum where only sufferers convene. The more awareness, the better.
We get a chance to let it all out for the world, not just other sufferers. It would feel good to just rant for 2 pages on the effects this has on our lives (or lack thereof)!

I've often wondered what a story writer would think if they came on this site.
I'd be interested in taking part in this.
No one can even begin to comprehend what we go through. Its not just the hardship of having to deal with daily life of having BB - that's easy. It's the way it takes over you and your whole life. Its having to live and compete amongst people who dont have this shackle around their ankles, but which we have to pretend isnt there. Its the effect this has on your loved ones, and the weight of that on your shoulders that just gets heavier and heavier as time goes on.
I happened to watch a video recently where they were discussing BB and noticed the shock in the reporter's voice when he was told that BB sometimes leads to people taking their own lives. It just highlighted to me how alone we are in this. It was incomprehensible to him.
BB is the absolute perfectly designed hell-on-earth torture that could ever be devised.
I think its funny how most people use mouthwashes today. Talk about halitophobia being contageous!
