That spicy sauce again
That spicy sauce again
Some of you may remember a past post in which I postd that antifungal cream had cleared my tongue coating . I was puting it oon my chest. Well before that I had first thought my tongue clearing was from this sauce i was eating from buffalo wild wings. The speciallize in hot dipping sauces for chicken. My favorite is spicy garlic. You can buy bottles of their sacuce for $4. I went to eat there yesterday and low and behold this morning my tongue was cleared in areas again, just as it did that time I couldnt determine if it was antifungal or this sauce that helped. My tongue hairs have grown becuse of bacterial ovegrowth I believe. Just like last time its as if the sauce has burnt these hairs down. and my breath is fresher. There may be somehing to this sauce that can help burn or kill whatever is on the toongue. the ingrdient are
cayenne red pepper
distilled vinegar,
soybean oil,
garlic,
corn starch,
egg yolk,
xanthan gum,
spices,
onion,
citric acid,
molasses,
corn syrup,
sugar
tamarind.

Interesting.. I had similiar experience, not with hot wings, but with hot cheetoes. After I ate a few hot cheetoes the other day, my tongue was really clean and pink (after I scraped all that red coloring off) and I felt my breath was fresher too.
I think maybe because of the spices that they put in the food,

Well since we are talking about vinegar.....Last week I came across this apple cidar vinegar stuff that the amish make. I ordered it and tried it yesterday for the first time. It was the most awful stuff I have ever tasted! I feel I have low stomach acid. I don't usually get heartburn but I taste vomit pretty much 24/7. It gets so bad it causes me to get sinus. I was going to wait for a few weeks so I could give you guys a good report but since you were talking about vinegar I thought I would say something.
Here is a page off their website:
What is Acid Reflux and what causes it?
Simplistically, acid reflux, food regurgitation and heartburn are caused by gas in both the
stomach and upper part of small intestines forcing partially digested food up the
esophagus and into the back of the throat.
This happens periodically because not enough HCL (hydrochloric acid - stomach acid) is
being produced to control the bacteria and digest the food in the stomach. When this
happens gas is formed and pushes the food upward through the esophagus toward the
back of the throat. As a result, there is an acid, burning taste in the esophagus and in the
throat that causes considerable discomfort.
This mainly happens in older people because as humans age they tend to produce less
stomach acid, causing more gas.
The solution can be many, but assuming you do not have a ruptured esophagus, deformed
valves from stomach to esophagus then you have what is called "common acid reflux"
meaning that your acid reflux is not caused by a ruptured esophagus or deformed valve but
rather is the result of gas pushing the partially digested food up through the esophagus which
is the case for virtually all acid reflux sufferers. To stop the acid reflux immediately we need
to add more acid to the stomach. The pH of our certified apple cider vinegar, ginger
and garlic juice formula is perfect for this - just one or two swallows (sometimes three
if you are a particularly large individual) and your acid reflux, burning, and heartburn
disappears in short order - a minute or two. You will have total relief and can now go
back to sleep with no further burning or discomfort.
This acid reflux formula has been used for over 100 years as a homeopathic remedy and
produces the fastest, most natural relief we know of. It is remarkably effective and you will
also notice that if you have had problems with excess gas that it eliminates that problem, too.
You Can Also Do These Things to Help Prevent Acid Reflux:
1. Wait at least three hours after eating before going to bed. Do not eat in bed.
2. Avoid spicy foods - peppers, tomatoes, cheeses, dairy products, peanut butter, coffee, tea, caffeinated beverages, hot dogs, lunch meats, greasy snack foods (chips) and deep fried foods.
3. Stay away from alcohol.
4. Drink a full glass of water after eating.
5. Sleep with head slightly elevated.

Both organic ACV with mother and cayenne pepper are godsends, we just need to know how to enjoy them right.
If you suffer from low HCL - mix a spoon or 2 of acv with water and drink - helps digestion. same goes for lime/lemon. Taste of acv is fine, but might not be well tolerated by picky/fast food eaters LOL. When something is beneficial for our bodies, it starts tasting much better when mind is involved.
Cayenne pepper is high in Vit C (higher than oranges), helps with cholesterol and digestion. Love those 2.
Not agreeing with drinking after food - for proper digestion water or any liquid must be consumed at least 30mins before or 2 hours after meals, or food gets fermented. All those waitresses coming up to you asking what you want to drink - refuse, or have it as early as possible before eating your meal.

This has been discussed many times in different threads and it makes real sense how the far reaching effects of low stomach acid levels can cause BB.
I just tried a search in the search box to see if I could find some of the threads where there's some good info, but I found this from back in 2005 and it explains it very well.

You know the irony of it - low stomach acid can be caused by prolonged stress, i think it really applies in my case, the stress of thinking you suffer from BB just numbs my stomach and stops it from functioning. THAT is a real challenge, knowing your mind might be easily causing you more health problems than you would have without concentrating on them. No wonder laughter is a true medicine for many maladies.
