Is it still working for the members that are using it?

I chew the gum.. Am considering picking up a mouthwash with it.
The gum doesn't seem to be doing my any real favors other than activating my salivary glands as long as it retains a flavor.

How are you guys taking it?

wether its a possible cure or not xylitol has great benefits on your gum and teeth that should be enough reason to use it.

from what i heard about it it makes it much more hard for plaque to stay on your teeth which ill keep you from getting periodontis, gumbags between the teeth and teethloss in the end.

those gumbags might collect food and bacteria and it can be a source for bb.

so even if xylitol may not cure your bb, it might keep you from getting another source of bb.

thats what i do figure out from the information across the internet.
so while its quite cheap to buy there is hardly any downside to it, and with hardly i mean: i dont know the smallest downside.

xylitol is even the main part of some mouthwashes that dentist recommend.

i could imagine a cure for people who has gum problems, dental caries or gum pockets...at least xylitol might be helpfull with these

Xylitol made me bb worse, maybe Aydinmur was right - it`s an alcohol and can`t be helpful for ppl with halitosis.

i agree, gargling with xylitol removes watery "normal" saliva, makes mouth dryer, and since xylitol is alcohol the result makes sense then.

i just bought 2 bags of this stuff....that dentist on that website recommends Xylitol??? Doesn't SHE know it has alcohol in it??? Ugh!!! NOBODY knows diddly about this bb, do they??!!

Here's to that dentist that ran her mouth about the "benefits" of Xylitol ------>

maybe Xylitol is good for the people without halitosis, since it reduces dental plaque, for me - it made my mouth dryer and bb worse

I think it is not necessary to swallow it, if one is to try Xylitol, it can be used as a mouthwash when dissolved in water

The last I heard, alcohol kills bacteria. That's why they make you wash your hands in the stuff before you walk into a hospital ward.

Alcohol might kill some of your bacteria but then it boosts them by at least three mechanisms according to aydinmur. Alcohol can definitely enhance my BB to terrifying extents! I've given up on xylitol after what aydinmur said about it fermenting to alcohol.
