My liver enzyme test results
AST/SGOT
Result: 14 (Low)
Normal Values: 15.00 - 37.00 u/L
ALT/SGPT
Result: 27 (Low)
Normal Values: 30.00 - 65.00 u/L
What is AST and alt (SGOT) in a blood test?

Read through that and then try to say that problems with the liver cant cause bad breath.
And just because the tongue is a natural breeding ground for bacteria, there's no certainty that excessive odours that are present on its surface that lead to BB are actually due to the bacterial production there at all. Its impossible to prove because as long as the chemicals that we know are responsible for bad breath are produced by bacteria, they could be produced anywhere inside the body and find its way into the mouth via the bloodstream lungs/saliva/mucus pathways.
When people eat unhealthy or an imbalanced diet, or too much of one thing etc, or they have stomach/intestinal problems, it can lead to bad breath because some compounds (like those contained in spicy foods or garlic etc) or from food intolerances, end up in the bloodstream and out through the lungs and bodily secretions.
Companies who make mouthwashes are very good at convincing us its the bacteria on the tongue, but chlorine dioxide is an odour/chemical neutralizer oxidizer. So too is hydrogen peroxide and Zinc chloride etc. Their odour reduction capabilities may be mostly due to their odour neutralizing capability.
And most of the 600 or so species of different bacteria which have so far been discovered in the mouth, are present in every mouth whether you have bad breath or not, except when there are certain obvious diseases or infections present. Most people with BB complain about having thick tongue coatings, but that's probably due to their obsession with cleaning and scraping and the chemicals being used. Even people without BB can have really white looking tongues, I see this with my own eyes every day.
