I have been on many SSRI and MAOI's ..etc. They all created insane effects ,much worse than the stress issues they were supposed to fix . Then trying to get off them is worse. Look on youtube . There are 1000's of people how had terrible issues with these drugs . To me, taking these drugs to fix a serotonin deficiency is like smoking shurm laced cigarettes to get nicotine . i mean , you can buy serotonin straight or 5htp

Mike , if you ordered some pills off the net , I'm guessing they are supplements . Anti-d drugs like Effexor ,Paxil ,etc are by no means to be fuked with . Been there .. As Clara says , they can ruin huge chunks of your life . Suddenly ,terrible bb will be the least of a persons problems .

I use antidpresnt now for more than one year.. and it was the best thing happent to me... my b/b gone and i got my life back... Now call that antidepresnt advertisment... whatever. but i am honest and antidpresent camponies are no way in need for my shaky broken english.. to advertise for them.. i wished the motherfukers did.. they don't they won't.

Guys read what i say carefully: for the first two/three weaks most of antidepresnt specially (SSRI)s have a lot of sideevvects.. law energy.. desnyess.. sweting dry mouth ..wight gaining, less intrest in organism, and at the same time increased libido etc etc.. but after that wen the medicen kicks in all that will disapear ecept wight , organism low intrest, high lebido. Now i knnow there are alot of depresed/half crazy ppl.. possing viedos and negetive post about the antidpresnt.. DONT listen tto them . and don't forget thease ppl are have already a svear depression, which makes them critizize everthing, how fufuck this midescen, it scuwed me..don't take it guys you will day.. bullshit.

But the good news is that you can go to older type of anti depresnts thats (MAOIs).. i wiould tell you go for it directlly... it has no theall above s/effect. unfortunattly your dectore will not alow that couse first are potentially fatal interactions between this class of medication and certain foods (particularly those containing tyramine). secoundlly becouse most of the doctores are old close minded idiots by defult.. who don't know there are a fairly new class of l MAOIs Like amirra which Has no risk or for interaction..

Ahmad, I am willing to believe that serotonin plays a role in gut function. There is some evidence for this. And I wanted to thank you for sharing what cured you, and I do believe you're not trying to push drugs... why would you?
But just because Jimi insulted you doesn't give you the right to insult everyone who has an opinion different to yours. The point of a forum is discussion, and clara and others were just pointing out their experiences with antidepressants. Why are their experiences any less valid?
Also, you always seem to say "but I'm not a racist" right after you say something totally racist. Just because you are a minority, doesn't mean you can't be a racist.

Tryptophan is a natural alternative to SSRIs. It has to be taken before bedtime because it raises melatonin levels as well as serotonin. SSRIs are dangerous and have many unwanted side effects.

The side effects are not that scary.. one of this is farting a lot... is that scary, or horror? Sweating a lot? is that scarry? take in to acount that youre seat dosn't smell it is like water.....Athor sideeefect: EffeXore has along half life which mean... if you stop it suddunlly... you will suffer from the wethdrawells.... now... you know why thos many ppl are complaing they stop it after two days and suddunlly,,,,,effexor strait in the dispin....Who told them to stop suddenlly? read the prescriptions... and you will see that.. incase you want to stop... decreas the amount gradully. untill you stop then feel free to say bye to effexor.

Now of course if you're a depressed 60 year old lady you will say oh may god oh my god...this Effexor thing is a poison
But effeXore is NOT a poison..it just has some side effect like any drug...., And...it has some restrictions Like if you are pregnant,,, or having a high blood pressure ... Now tell me which medication t don't have a side effects?? Google Panado and you will read horror stories...

That sounds very interesting but if the candida causes a lack of serotonin, fixing it by a drug only covers the problem, but the candida is still there and when we stop the drug, deficiency again reappears, is that right? I am curious to know if Ahmad stops the drugs bb comes back or not.

yea i believe going on a anti-candida diet while doing this is important as well if candida is the reason for serotonin suppression. Ahmad has another post on here i read from last year where someone asked him does his bb come back when he stops takng them and he said yes. so yeah getting to the cause of low serotonin is important but id see if supplements help 1st to avoid wasting time & energy if low serotonin isn't the cause of our bb. In the next couple weeks im going to order some just to see.
