My theory about BB

Post by focused »

Well acc to me the major causes of bb are:
1. Thick saliva or no saliva
2. holes(fissures) on the surface of tongue.

ofcourse if u have tonsils, u r likely to have bb....they r visible right??

but i feel the major culprit is dry mouth. I feel so bcoz i see so many people smoking/drinking but still they take any mint and the bb is gone :(....wats more i see so many people who have got stained teeth ,yet they can speak so comfotably. My teeth have the natural white colour but still i have bb :(

btw have u come across any one who has healthy saliva and a smooth tongue(of course no tonsils) and still having bb If yes then i feel i am working in a wrong direction. we talk about eating raw food and all healthy stuff. of course it will improve ur health and may reduce bb to a certain extent but wat abut those people who dont even get proper food for one time? leave aside the nutritive value but even having food one time is a struggle for many and yet they don't have bb. i feel itz their saliva and smooth tongue which is not causing bb.

same is the case with people who even after smoking or people having stained teeth dont have bb.

and what is causing dry mouth??? u search for it on net and most of the info u get is to avoid certain medications.. well i am not taking any medicine from so many years then why do i have bb??

i think to cure dry mouth...we need to focus on salivary glands.

m not going into much details for now. but i feel the salivary gland(sub mandibular) which is located right below our tongue can help us as it secretes thin saliva. and if it will work properly....wow i will not have dry mouth \:D/

For you, it may be dry mouth. For me, it may be post nasal drip. For others, it may be a different cause.

Whatever be the root cause, it's clear that bad breath is caused by either bacteria or fungus. Our body has natural immune system to fight off all micro organisms. It's when the immune system goes down, all bacteria and fungi start attacking our mouth, throat, nose and what not.
(Anyone here, who is perfectly healthy and still having bad breath...? )

There are many reasons for low immunity; like loss of nutrients, poor diet, stress etc.

If we can increase our body's immunity through good diet, then I guess, we all will be having the day; A day when we can speak out without any fear.

Hope the day is not too far away..

the dryness of the mouth must come from the insdie of our body, liver, spleen, nervous system, hormones, and also the tongue can be a lone reason for bad breath.

Look at the homeless people with horrible teeth and fresh breath. It must be the overall body condition. Or just genetic disorder.

If you want to see what bacteria and fungi start attacking your mouth and throat looks like, in comparison to just having some normal tongue coating or bacterial overactivity on your tongue surface, just do a google images search for oral candidiasis.

Halitosisux, i have been to many Docs. all they say is there isn't any issue and look at me as if i am weird. Yet to find a dentist who can take this seriously.

Hey focused,
Try using biotene tooth paste..it is very good for dry mouth. I really liked it. It helped me a lot. Also use sonic tooth brush to brush ur tongue....

My theory is that if you can just thoroughly clean the back of your tongue with a tongue brush I think our bb will improve but it's too hard to do that, you can do it with tongue scraper but not with a tongue brush. I usually brush my tongue first then scape it with a tongue scraper.

Remember: Bb is caused by too much anaerobic bacteria in our body w/c is found in our tongue and colon, that causes a whitish tongue and sometimes yellowish bec. of Volatile Sulfur Compounds produced by anaerobic bacteria and remember the color of sulfur is yellow. Combatting anaerobic bacteria in the mouth is not we also have to kill anaerobic bacteria in our colon bec. it is were they orginated. So we can kill and eliminate toxins and anaerobic bacteria by undergoing colon cleanse. And after this, ur whitish tongue will turn into pink then ur bad breath is gone..
