I drink lots of water, but when I have to pee, I feel like I'm going to piss my pants if I can't get to a toilet in time!
Lately it's felt really bad, but that might be because I've been doing exercises to strengthen that muscle. I'll be fine, but as soon as I feel the urge, I dance around like a maniac, and have to get to a toilet.. Sometimes I can get the feeling to pass for a few minutes, but it's like once I get the feeling, there's no stopping it. I can't seem to control it.
I wonder if this could be related to an ileocecal valve condition, at least as far as not having the right nerve reaction to maintain involuntary effectiveness, as you were talking about along with the serotonin idea.
I think I'll take some serotonin anyway, give it a shot.
So seanlee says the liquid form is more effective?
I understand how you feel because I have this problem too

It only happens when I've drunk lots of water and then when the urge to pee comes, it's like you said, I'll have to go to the toilet or else it gets really unbearable like I might just pee in my pants anytime. Sometimes right after peeing, like 15mins later I might have to go again.
This started a few years ago when one day I just had this sudden urgent need to pee (it really shocked me at that time because normally it's possible to hold on for quite some time), and this urge kept coming back regardless of whether I drank little or a lot of water. I eventually went to see a doc and while he didn't know what's the exact problem, I think he gave me some medicine for UTI even though I don't think it's UTI because there isn't any pain or blood when peeing. As time went on I got better but till this day i don't think I'm fully cured but I try to control the amount of water I drink (if at home, I'll drink as much as I like but if I'm outside, I only drink small sips of water).
On a side note, I feel weird typing this here since it's a BB forum, haha.
