Can Bacteria Related BB Be Cured??

Post by HopefulOne »

I have been going crazy the past few months trying to find my cure. I will be 50 this summer and all I want for my birthday is to solve this problem once and for all. The problem is I don't think there is a cure for bacteria related BB. Antibiotics work but the BB returns soon after you stop taking them. I believe the only thing we can hope for is a way to keep the bacteria at bay. I have spent so much money over the past few months trying any and everything to rid my body of the bacteria. Today I feel that I've reached 95% freshness. I may be at 100%, but I still have that fear that I'm wrong. I am too embarrassed to ask my fiance if my breath smells. How sick is that? I sleep with him every night but I'm afraid to ask him about my breath.

What's currently working for me is (and I pray that it continues):

1) I take a 30 billion probiotic every night, It has 13 different strains. (I have tried probiotics in the past, but the count and number of strains was too low....for our condition, we have to take a higher number). My breath was fresher within two days of taking this.

2) I floss and use my water pic every day. I alternate the following in my water....baking soda, GSE, tea tree oil, Hibiclens, Hydrogen peroxide, salt. Sometimes I use two products in the water at once. I am trying my best not to let the bacteria develop immunity to any one product.

3) I take two drops of oil of oregano under my tongue twice daily to kill the bacteria within my body. I take my probiotic at night so the oregano won't kill the good stuff, although it's not suppose to.

4) After I brush my teeth, I use the Orabrush and tongue foam.

5) I'm never really thirsty unless I'm hot, so I FORCE myself to drink plenty of water everyday.

So far so good...

My fiance is taking me to a tropical island for my 5-0. We are traveling with several other couples. There is no way I'm getting on a plane and a shuttle with all of my friends with STINKY BREATH. If my BB returns, I will stay home!!

Any other suggestions for bacteria-related BB??

Could it be due to some kind of psychological stress that influences the production of saliva or any enzymes that prevents you from the last 5%?
Quite possibly that you even reached a 100%.

Could you please tell me what kind of probiotics you use? that would really interest me a lot, since I´m also making some progress with probiotics at the moment. In germany there are only two kinds of probiotics available. S.salivarius (blis) and lactobacilli reuteri (periobalance). I wish I could order some more different strains.
And for how long have you been using them?

Thank you very much in advance!

Glad to hear your getting good results. I've tried different types of probiotics before, but never worked for me. With respect to the 'mixing' of various ingredients your doing with the waterpick, aren't you concerned that you might be greating a 'super-immune' bacteria causing bad breath?
