It seems as though everyone on this site suffers from allergies or food intolerances, digestive issues such as bloating/constipation/diarrhea/indigestion, sinus issues, coated tongues, and hormonal imbalances. This just can't be a coincidence that mostly all of us suffer from these issues collectively. It's just a matter of connecting the dots to find out what is the missing link that is causing all of this to happen? Thyroid dysfunction, candida, etc.....Why is it that of the other people who suffer from these ailments we are the ones with bb? If only we can find the link to these symptoms we will find a cure for us all. I do believe there is one cure for the majority of us.

Hmmm

Maybe most non-BB people even have sinus issues, allergies, food intolerances, etc etc..

Maybe that's just a shared human symptom?

I agree most people may have a few allergies or digestive issues or sinus problems but we have all of that combined plus heavy/lightly coated tongues, bad taste in mouth, and hormonal changes that make our bb worse. That is what separates US from THEM the question is why? :-k

And please let me add and point that THE main thing we odorous ppl have is.. anxiety! Something that surely is associated with 'bloating/constipation/diarrhea/indigestion, hormonal imbalance etc'.

Yes MTR , we have discussed this on skype calls and the phone call . THe question is: is anxiety a cause or an effect ? I suspect both and in varying amounts from person to person .
I wont even get into the whole serotonin thing again but bacteria we know can affect the mind as well as the mind can affect the gut . it just brings up more questions really .

I don't know about anyone else but anxiety is not the cause of my bb. I went years witout even knowing I had bb so there was no anxiety whenever I went out. But know that I look back I remember the faces, I remember people staring at me, I had an all eyes effect on me when I walked in the room. At that time I thought it was just because I was an attractive person who dressed well but now that Im cognicent I realize what those stares where pertaining to. It's been two years since I went out to eat at a restaurant and even longer (maybe 4 yrs) since I've been to a movie. The last movie I went to see was "Drag Me to Hell". I can't tell you how I miss going out and having fun dinner and a movie was something I looked forward to every week. Someone said bb is worse than cancer or any other disease which I agree. With cancer I could still go to the movies, or out to eat, or hang out with family and friends. Ugh!!! I'm just so frustrated with this burden I must bare.

S4B , Dude I know what you mean by not knowing for Soo freaking long . Its weird how one can actually appreciate that first set of comments to be clued in on an ongoing BB issue. Its almost funny how some of my friends in lower income parts of UK say they get daily rude, verbal comments .
Personally ,Im sure it was at least 1 year before this 1 woman made a few rude comments to me ,this is after being shunned for many months and accrediting some other problem than odor.

For movies, last ones i saw were few months ago , 'The Help' ,during weekday matinee , few people , plenty or room . Earlier one was Tree of life , but on a Friday in a Totally packed theater .. I'm sure that at least 3 people got grumpy and moved . =/ i kept just munchin away at my popcorn . But a strange thing was a girl in the corner seat actually moved closer to me to see the screen better i'm sure but maybe this goes to prove the info about some ppl cant sense some of these VOCs

Cancer: hmm, the grass may just seem greener bud . Yep , ppl are more sympathetic and informed about cancer. But it must be noted that cancer is deadly . As little as we know about malodor,I know that its unlikely to kill us outright . Thats at least a good thing . I might guess that millions of cancer sufferers would jump at the chance to trade for even the worst malodor . But I can see how you feel tho

That's really brave to go to a packed theater my bb has gotten so severe that I can be at the top of the theater row and ppl at the bottom would smell me. I just can't find the nerve to put ppl through that or be considered the "stank person" and I restaurant is out of the question because eating is involved and I wouldn't want to make ppl lose their appetites. Smelling shit with every bite I'm sure is vomit inducing, lol!

I know I'm too concerned with what others think but I've known several ppl in my life with odor issues like bo and bb and I know how me and my friends would laugh and talk about those ppl (behind their backs) so I just can't stand to be on the other end of the jokes. My aunts husband who has had really bad breath for as long as I can remember use to always be talked about behind his back by my whole family. Now I'm in that catergory of being talked about behind my back and sometimes in my face by my whole family now that its so severe....that's why i chose to just stay away and be anti-social. I truly miss PEOPLE!

As for cancer, if I could trade I would. If someone told me you can live for only one year bb free and then die...that year with my family, or being able to just laugh or converse freely would be better than living a life in isolation, in fear of ppl. A person without bb can't possibly understand how much it impacts every factor in our life from grocery shopping, to going out to eat/movies, to just being with family...every where we go everywhere we are, we are reminded of our bb.
