Diagnostic / Treatment Pattern for Stomache related PND

So my ENT had a look into my throat and told me that my massive, onsided PND is probably related to reflux.
I'm trying the third proton pump inhibitor now (1. Pantroprazole, 2. Omeprazole, 3. Lansoprazole), which didn't show any results yet (except the taste is slighlty different and more disgusting).

I have an appointment for a reflux consultation at a specialist. Therefore ...

MY QUESTION:
What is a reliable diagnostic and treatment pattern for reflux / stomache problems that cause PND and BB?

From what I experienced the last few years doctors often screw it to get a reliable diagnosis. Instead just look isolated at the symptoms (which got me a nice nose surgery).
