Bad Breath Tonsil or Wisdom Teeth?

Im in a huge dilema right now. Iv been suffering from BB since i was like 10 year old.

Im not sure weather my tonsils or widsom teeth are causing it. I have a bad odor cheesy like smell coming from my right nostril and my wisdom teeth are like 30% impacted and exposed on my top right gum.

I've booked to see an ENT to make up an excuse to get my tonsils removed but is there anyone who have had their tonsils removed and still had no effect whatsoever?

Can someone who had actually had the same problem tell me weather tonsils were the cause or not. After you had your tonsils removed, did you still have Bad Breath? Did you also still have all your wisdom teeth aswell?

Did anyone also find removing their tonsils to be a cure???

Yeah if this is correct, then your wisdom is most likely causing it. Its producing junk whitch's getting collected in your tonsil (they are very very close and we constantly swallow saliva which is all over your tonsils, in your case saliva with wisdom junk in it). I remeber member here @halitosisux said (before he found root cause of his bb) he had tonsilectomy (which didnt help) and his right tonsil prudced stones mostly, and later found out his right lower wisdom tooth was his bb root cause.
In most cases here smelly tonsils are more often a symptom rather than a cause, but then again it doesent have to be the same with you.

Thanks for the reply. I might cancel my appointment with my ENT because the consultation fee is like $350.

My dentist says I can't get my wisdom teeth removed while im in braces. Screw him.

Youz123, cheesy like smell otherwise is called smelly feet smell, I have experienced that smell also, along with caries smell,faeces smell, fart smell and some funny smell altogether, before I have cured my bb, while ago I have a small lipoma on my chest and when I squeezed it out it has roquefort cheese smell,same as smelly feet smell. It comes from body fat deposits, they are heavily toxic, that's why they smell that awful. Now imagine, that those toxic fat deposits are all over your colon walls,esophagus and right up to your back of the tongue and inside the tongue on papillae fibers,"comprends-tu"?

Way out - body cleanses,detoxes and strict diet. That's the only way.

@Youz123....I had my tonsils and 2 of my wisdom teeth removed but that didn't help at all, my bb is still the same as it were pre surgery! So I'm not sure if removing them will help you solve your problem, but then again everyone is different and you might get positive results from removing them as Halitosisux did! Best of luck.

@Sadum, which wisdom teeth did you have removed? Were they errupted?

The 2 wisdom teeth you have now are located where in your mouth and are they errupted?

@ Youz123.....I had the two on the right side extracted. The bottom was partially erupted and was infected & had puss (very foul smell & taste) coming out from it. I still have my bottom left which isn't erupted at all, & as for my top left one, it just doesn't exist (weird I know). But anyway removing my 2 wt's didn't change my condition, it did improve a lot while on the antibiotics but once the course was completed so did it's effectiveness!

I'm convinced now that my issue does not lie in the mouth, as I've suffered from this condition since the age of 10 or 11, way before I had my wisdoms! I will soon try the choline experiment to find out whether it's TMAU or something else! I'm so sick of not knowing and waiting and hoping, it's so bloody exhausting!!!

Here's the link to it. I still haven't tried it yet cuz I have a meeting in a couple of days and I'm worried that it'll worsen my bb. So I'll probably start on the weekend.
