THE MOMENT II PUT SOME VIT C INTO MY MOUTH I NOTICE MASIVE SALIVA PRODUCTION!....
AND THOSE CHEWABLE VIT. C (BUBLE GUMS OR WHATEVER THEY ARE) THERE ISN'T JUST VIT C INSIDE ALSO ALOT OF OTHER STUFF!..IS IT OK , OR MUST IT BE STRICTLY AND ONLY VITAMIN C??? HOW ABOUT SOME NATURAL TASTE LIKE CHERRYS AND STRAWBERIES???..THOSE I CAN GET IN MY COUNTRY...ANY ADVICE?

DONE! Edited 1st post n pasting it again. Good luck. Thank you, Noptical for the picture; awesome.

Dear Members,

If you are considering trying the Vitamin C to see if it helps to control some of your halitosis symptoms, and hopefully lower your odor, here’s what I am doing.

Please use SUGARFREE, chewable, vitamin C. The 4,000mg is NOT a rule that you have to follow. It’s only a guideline. I purchased mine at GNC for less than $7 a bottle. You can also purchase sugarfree, chewable vitamin C at health food stores, or vitamin shops.

I am sorry to our foreign/oversea friends/members who just can't seem to find sugarless, chewable vitamin c. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you guys. It's bad enough to suffer in America, with all kinds of remedies in the stores that don't help, but it gotta be demoralizing in your country.

Current, I am using about 2,500mg a day to help saliva flow, reduce overall odor and helping with plague build up and white coated tongue, and most importantly, reduce the overall odor and bad taste in my mouth.

Please avoid using sugar chewable vitamin C, as the sugar will eventually allow bacteria to regenerate.

Here’s my daily routine:

I wake up in the morning at 5:50am. Brush my teeth and brush my tongue. Morning breath hasn’t been a huge problem since using sugarfree, chewable vitamin c (VC).

I eat breakfast than TUNG brush my tongue than gargle with all natural alcohol-free mouthwash; Dr. Ken’s. Have a large glass of water and suck on 500mg/1 tablet of VC on my way to work.

Around 9am I suck on another tablet and drink some water. At 11am I have lunch. After lunch clean my tongue with a normal toothbrush as my tongue gets dirty with food particles trapped at the back of my tongue and allow anaerobic bacteria to regenerate at an amazing pace. If I don’t keep the back of my tongue clean it’s hard to experience positive breath relief. I also gargle with all natural mouthwash just for extra confidence.

I suck on another around 2pm, 5pm, and another one at night. Always keep the back of my tongue clean with a toothbrush.

Before bed I brush teeth and floss, and that’s it. I don’t have to spend 30 minutes doing all kinds of things in my mouth anymore. It has really helped me. I hope you will experience some relief as well.

Looking forward to better days.

Apologies in advance for a tedious request, but can someone who owns the above product post the ingredients? Would be good to know, so that we can maybe determine if it's the actual Vit C or something else that has the wonderful effect 8)

thanks ocean and nooptical for the post.. i bought mines yesterday. i can feel the difference in the vitamins i was taking before. maybe is the name brand?

but the gnc sugarfree brand make my mouth full of saliva and i think it's helping already.
this morning when i woke up my breath tasted bad but the mouth felt fresh.

some the ingredients on the bottle i have say

vitamin A (100% as beta-carotene) 1000 IU
vitamin C (as ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate) 500mg
vitamin E (as dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate) 5IU
sodium 35mg
citrus bioflavonoids complex 5mg
sorbitol, cellulose, natural and artificial flavor, stevia leaves powder, soybeans and more stuff from gnc.

at the botton says: no sugar, no artificial colors, no preservatives, no wheat, no gluten, no dairy, yeast free.

the bottle i have is brown like the picture nooptical posted but in the red spot in the front it says sugar free, cherry flavor.

Thanks!

I don't see why they have to put Vit A in Vit C pills...

Overdosing on Vit A (betacarotene) can possibly have some negative effects on smokers (I don't smoke ...much). No big deal I guess, but I'd still want to track down some chewable, sugarfree Vit C *without* added Vit A 8) Any pointers?

the gnc cherry flavored sugar free vit c has only vitamin c and rose hips. I just started using tom's of maine mouthwash where one of the main ingretiants is acorbic acid (vitamin c) it helps even more in my opinion. no reactions from people, great taste, my confidence has soared! :P

Zinc will neutralise the stinking gases for a while, but in the long run it supposedly has a very drying effect so sucking on zinc is generally a bad idea, sadly 8-[

God I'm confused now :D

So the GNC Vitamin C all have Vitamin A too? Damn 8)

Did anyone find one which is sugarfree and also *without* Vitamin A? (Overdosing on Vitamin A is not always a good idea)
