Had coffee during breakfast and tea in the evening. Both times felt bad. Looks like tea, coffee, sugar and dairy are the real issues. Trying to avoid them on Day 3. 5 PM here.

Day 2 evening - very bad
Day 3 morning - morning breath - okay
Day 3 morning - after brushing and 3 tabs - good
Day 3 afternoon - after lunch - okay
Day 3 afternoon - after 3 tabs - okay

I have white stuff but very light is that normal?

For me a lick wrist test is accurate, everytime! If it smells then i can almost guarantee the coating is the source.

Just a friendly reminder, 90% of cases of bb originates from the mouth.

Your tongue looks normal to me. Remember, almost everyone has some form of tongue coating, even people who are bb free. Only in few cases does the coating smell badly. Test your breath before and after thoroughly cleaning it, to find out if the coating is the source.

How do I test?

I tried licking wrist and couldn't smell anything. Tried the spoon method as well and all I could smell was the spoon smell.

What is the best way to know how it actually smells?

John, this stuff is still working pretty well for me. Have you found a pro-biotic aside from pro-dental that works? $22 for a supply that lasts at best a month is a bit much.

Im still doing research to find a cheaper alternative. Recently ive been experimenting with milk kefir for about 2 weeks now. For those of you unfamiliar with kefir, it's a bacteria culture also called "grains" that you put in milk and sort of let it ferment. Milk kefir has at least a dozen or so strains. They're primarily use for the gut and to boost immune system.

Right now im consuming it to see if it help with bb along with the pills. So far i havent noticed any difference, Ill keep everyone posted.

Btw milk kefir grains are super cheap and if you taje care of them you can make it forever. Im just hoping it help with bb. Well see.

For a sure fire way to know you can try testing with a halimeter. Not all dentist have them and they might charge you a small fee to use one. All you do is blow into the machine and it'll register the odor compound levelin your breath.

IIRC 80 ppm is an acceptable range. Mine was at 220ppm a few years ago and probably gotten worse over time.
