I think this is actually working!!
I think this is actually working!!
I was so distraught after that because I let my hopes get up high, I even thought about ending it all. The bb was a problem I didn’t feel comfortable taking to anyone about so I just suffered in silence. I wasn’t ready to give up the search for a cure, and I finally found Bristle online and I took the test to measure and identify the bacteria strains in my mouth. When I got the results, it was a eureka moment. My mouth bacteria was way off. I had NO good bacteria in my mouth and plenty of bad strains, two of which are highly resistant to antibiotics and antifungals. No wonder I couldn’t get rid of my bb! I started to research how to get rid of the resistant bacteria. I was going to order antibiotics online because no doctor will prescribe me antibiotics, because of frequent bladder infections, h pylori, and my bb, my bacteria has become resistant to virtually every antibiotic. I don’t want to become resistant to the newer antibiotics because I might need them in the future. Bristle includes a google meet with a specialist with the test. I was disappointed because the things she recommended I do, I have already done. But I started the treatment anyway. The 2 strains that my mouth had an overgrowth of were a fungus called Candida Glabrata and a bacteria called Enterobacter Cloacae, both are highly resistant to antibiotic/antifungal treatment. So the treatment she recommended was Carifree mouthwash and probiotics. I’ve tried both of these things before. She told me the problem in my mouth was because overuse of antibiotics and all these powerful mouthwashes I use for bad breath, like Chlorhexidine and Dioxirinse, kill both good and bacteria in my mouth, and did nothing to kill the stinky strains that are highly resistant. So my mouth all these years had stinky strains of resistant bacteria that took over my mouth, and I had no good bacteria to help my bb. So all this time I was using these expensive mouthwashes and they were just making my problem worse. I started the treatment to kill the Candida glabrata which could be any strong Candida cleansing supplement. I use Canxida Cleansing 2 times daily. Also any brand of Saccharomyces boulard, I use Pure. You will need to look at your results to see the exact strains of probiotics you need, because they’re billions of strains of probiotics and if you take the ones you don’t need, it won’t help at all. The Carifree mouthwash is great because it cleans your mouth without killing the good bacteria. It comes in apple flavor which is good if you’re sick to death of the minty. I’ve used Carifree in the past, but I didn’t use the correct probiotics. It’s been 10 days since I started and my bb is not gone, but I do notice an improvement. I can taste things now! I was told it will take about 3 months to completely get my mouth microbiome back in order. I will come back and give you an update. I recommend Bristle! They need to offer another test that will show exactly which antibiotics or antifungals the strains are resistant to, and which antibiotics or antifungals will work. Other than that, it’s a great company and well worth the $100. Unfortunately it’s only available in the USA. Good luck guys

Is there a chart to relate what counters what?

You are using Candida Cleansing while taking Saccharomyces Boulardii, which is also a yeast so it may kill it too, but I'm not sure about that.
The thing is, it doesn't permanently change the microbiome, whenever I stop taking some, my bb becomes worse. I hope it won't stop working for you.

When you say probiotics, are you talking about oral probiotics or probiotics for the gut ?Beast wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 5:57 pm @spyr, I’ve read and have been told that’s there’s a specific order you need to take these things in. First one month of the Carifree to kill the bacteria, then start the probiotics. Another option was to use the Carifree and then space the probiotics dose hours later so it all won’t get killed. I’m trying that and it seems to be working. I’ve read from several different sources that the saccharomyces boulardii is important to start off with before introducing the other strains of probiotics.
Because I don't really understand why a toothpaste will have an impact on the gut probiotics you take.
Did you ever try to take only saccharomyces boulardii and to see if it had any effects on your bb ?

Re: I think this is actually working!!
But the thing with taking probiotics is that it's never permanant and it can't colonize the gut and the mouth permanently.
At least you found a solution for your bb even if you have to take probiotics your whole life.

Well, if we changed it for the worse once, it definitely can be changed for the better. Don’t lose hope!
I’m still looking for cheaper testing options in Europe, so if anyone has an idea please let me know. I’d pay a maximum of 300 euros.

Doctor Josh Axe from Youtube is saying, that bacterial imbalance in mouth is caused by candida overgrowth in gut and you need to get rid of candida to make your oral microflora go back to normal...I'm currently on day 7 of candida cleanse,I'm taking caprylic acid, pau d'arco and garlic capsules to kill candida.I'am also taking big dose of probiotics(not saccharomyces boulardii, but another strains, which also have antifungal properties). Before starting the cleanse,I was following low-carb diet for around a mounth.
Will stay updated.

Thanks for all the info op!! Best of luck that this is your solution, I guess time will tell if it is a permanent cure or a maintenance thing. But I will definitely be giving this a try starting January 1st! (I will have too much junk over the holidays, so no point starting now)
Did you have to amend your diet at all? What foods have you been eating over the 10 days?
2015: Tonsils+adenoids remov
2017: TMAU1 & 2 Negative
2019: Internal biopsies normal
2019: Completed SIBO treatment
2020: DigEnzymes help but side effects
+ low fodmap/GERD diet also help

Basically I cut out all foods, that are feeding candida(sugar, milk products, bread, pasta).I eat any meat, eggs, buckwheat and all non-starchy vegetables.I also eat potatoes and rice in small amounts, but not more often than once a day, because they're not that good for the treatmentStillHoping wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 3:31 amkira_kira wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 12:14 am Very interesting, waiting for updates from you!!!
