um...ill have to ask the hubby to help me with that...im not sure how to upload pics and stuff...theres really not much to see bc its the back of the tongue so its kinda hard....

actually i had googled lingual tonsils...and this forum came up...i havent found anyone who has even heard of lingual tonsils and what not...so when i saw this i was like YAY!! finally someone knows what im talking about!! why do you want yours removed? are they causing you problems?

well do not know, they may cause bad breath, but we only speculate.

most of us here has constant bad breath and we are looking for cure

hmmm...interesting...since the surgery my breath has been unbearable! he said it will be like that for awhile...so i guess ill let you guys know in a few weeks how it turns out...now that i think about it bc they were enlarged food would get trapped back there causing bad breath...im gonna ask my ent though if getting them removed would help with that...i go on the 20th...i say if your insurance will cover it...have the surgery...you wont know till you try

i did have them lasered...i have bad breath now bc of the surgery...theres a layer of skin that peels off from the burns...that is what smells...i was talking for you to get them lasered off if you think that it would help your breath...im sorry for the misunderstanding...i am on a strong painkiller right now lol...and also what i was saying is my lingular tonsils were enlarged and i was getting food stuck back there causing a foul smell...but i always chewed gum and i guess never realized it...so once the layer of skin comes off we shall see if the foul smell goes away or if indeed i do have bad breath!
