Question about mouthwashes

Post by willsmith »

I know that alcohol based mouthwashes are bad because the alcohol is drying the mouth and a dry mouth will produce even more bacteria so the odor will be worst.
That is clear. BUT what about alcohol-free mouthwashes? Are they any good?
They claim it contains antibacterial stuff, and I'm wondering myself: the killed bacteria won't come back even stronger like when you take antibiotics?
I'm sure the odor will be better right after I use the mouthwash, but I don't want the bacteria to grow stronger and stronger over the years.
So generally speaking a mouthwash would help? or its better to stay away from them? In case they help, which one should I go for, what's the best one? (I've noticed "Dentyl pH" they advertise it nicely, any feedback for it?)

Question ab out Therabreath

Post by beergirl »

What kinds of experiences has every one had with Therabreath? I started using the mouthwash 8 days ago and I have this HORRIFIC metallic taste in my mouth. It's to the point that I don't want to eat or drink anything. HA! Maybe I'll lose a few pounds. Seriously though, you can't find anyone being honest about this stuff anywhere. I called them and they said it would go away after a couple of weeks. I want to know if anyone else experienced this and if this awful taste does in fact go away. Not even sure if it's working.

why are you guys talking about Therabreath? thats not the topic here.
i was asking about Dentyl PH which is not from Therabreath.
Dentyl PH is from Mel Rosenberg.
I was googleing for Dentyl PH reviews and it looks ok.

Now i understand that it didnt work for some of you, its very normal not to work for everyone since BB is caused by many different things and it has many levels.

I'm not concerned about losing the money, what concerns me is that the mouthwash contains antibacterial agents, and im not sure if the antibacterial agents will unbalance the bacteria in my mouth (kind of bacteria will come back even stronger).
Basically I'd like to know if the antibacterial agents can cause any harm (after a long time use for example, then suddenly stop taking it no more)

You need to read the 1st page of this website and you 'll see what we all think of these mouthwashes and our individual experiences. Read what other people have posted from past experiences. NOTHING HAS WORKED!!!! It just masks it for a few minutes and that's it.

I hope you don't think I was yelling at you because I wasn't . I'm just so frustrated with this awlful disease we all have and I 'm afraid I was kinda harsh on you . We are all in the same boat and should be considerate of each other's feelings . Please accept my apologies !!! ](*,) :(
