Hi guys.
It's been a while since I've been on here because I've been trying a course of Rhinocort aqua nasal spray prescribed by my GP. I mentioned b4 my bb is through my mouth and nose, which comes intermittently, and a 'toxic' smell enough to fill a room.
Well just a small update, after one month of using the spray there was no change at all, but on month 2 I only had the bb once, and instead of a strong smell it was only smelt if my bf was literally 15 cm in front of me! Then I went a whole 4 weeks completely bb free which has never happened. Unfortunately I couldn't get my new prescription for a week, and at the end of the week it has come bk. Could this b working? My doc said it pretty much clears any mucus out and works as an inflammatory, so a very minimum of 3 months dedication is needed.
I thought I'd let u know my progress, if this doesn't work I'm going to suggest concha bullosa to my GP as suggested my Vickster

Possible nasal bb cure?

Thanks Maz for your post.
The smell from my bb also fills up the entire room (like vapors or gas does), and smells like a pile of dirty socks but seems to get worse when I eat or no matter what I eat.
My ENT at one point prescribed Flonase for me ( I wonder if this is the same as what your using - I'll look it up). But I gave up on it pretty quickly like after 3 weeks, I didn't feel it was helping so I stopped using it.
Definitely post an update and let us know if its continuing to help you.
If the only reaction you get is from somebody standing right in front of you that's great. When I talk people standing a few feet from me can smell the odor.

The below link is tad bit more info on the Atrophic Rhinitis disorder. The attached study is a good read on the disease and how common or uncommon it is...
I have an appointment with my ENT this coming week to see if I might have this or if this is the reason he prescribed Flonase for me years ago, or whether I had some other form of rhinitis (when I gave up on it). (Flonase is a different brand of what Maz is using I think.)
The thing is I don’t have a lot of nasal crusting but my bb does worsen with menstruation.

It was mentioned that taking iron helps and I was told in the past I should take iron but recently my levels were ok. Im sure i could use some vitamin A too. My nose is either really runny or super dry. I used to get frequeent nose bleeds when younger and years ago I used to get these crusts in my nostrils. but my bad breath started before nose odor, I think
