Post Nasal Drip

Post by timc_05 »

Does everybody here have it? I actually found relief for about 2 hours. I brushed my teeth like usual with regular toothpaste, but for some reason I didnt have PND, Ive had PND for years. Well I used iodine salt and i rubbed it all over my tongue then i rubbed all the way in the back like in the throat. Like i said i stayed fresh for about 2 hours then the PND came back and my bad breath too. I really think PND plays a big role in BB. Does anybody had success with a PND remedy? Mt tongue always feels clean now but I always have that lump in the throat, sticky, stinky feeling in the back of my throat.

Yes most of us have PND and it definitely has something to do with bb.
Only problem is we dont know if pnd CAUSES bb or its just another symptom caused by the same thing that causes our bb.

I do NOT have PND. Just a sticky mouth with thick saliva sometimes. Hardly any coating on my tongue, but then I scrape it many times a day.

I was taking 300mg. of zinc gluconate supplements for 1 year & somewhere along the line my pnd got drier & drier. Even my mouth dried up so I had to stop taking it. I replaced it with spirulina & probiotics & for about 6 months now my pnd had never returned. Sad to say, after my pnd was cured my bb is still present so in my case post nasal drip is not the main cause of bad breath.

I have it too, but it isn't as bad as it used to be. I had my septum fixed last year and I think it reduced my pnd with at least 50%. Yea my pnd use to be really bad. I remember waking up at night and choking because of al the mucous in my throat.

You could have PND and not know it. That sticky thick saliva is probably mucous mixed with saliva or something.

i was asymptomatic with my sinus problems for a couple years, for some reason. so i thought i didn't have sinus issues anymore - having been so used to the dry feeling in my nose, i didn't think that it wasn't normal.

however, i started becoming symptomatic after started to oil pull a few months ago. i developed this chronic sinus infection (or maybe it was always there, but i only started showing symptoms then) that wouldn't go away.

i think my sticky saliva is actually mucous. i started taking bromelain for a while, and realized that my sinuses felt cleared. i looked it up, and found out that it's suppoed to be good for sinusitis.

but then, just like bb experiments, it seemed to stop working after a while.

when i started to take mastic, i felt like my sinuses were being cleared. i even started to feel like large gunks of stuff would be passed down from my nose to my throat, and then i'd swallow it. it'd come out of nowhere, and actually it feels really disgusting to feel those gunks. it has happened maybe 3 times or so in the last few days. sometimes i have a more subtle feeling of something passing down, but i've been feeling it a lot more with the mastic. altho' i don't feel it now as much as when i first started the mastic. (even the cleared sinuses - that' why i'm wondering if my bugs are getting immune to it...)
